Having attending the Ontario College of Art and Design, University Of Windsor in Fine Arts, and various continuing programmes with the arts, I have honed my style. Through colour, medium, and technique, a personal narrative is woven across each piece. Some pieces are fabric oriented, bound for reproduction on scarves or cushions. Other paintings rendered on either canvas or board panels, are contemporary, larger, and somewhat tactile.

Or the excitement of walking into my Grandma’s (Mary Ruth) house at Christmas and feeling like I was walking into Willy Wonka’s factory. Luckily my mother (Patricia Ruthann) carried on the traditions that both my Grandmothers shared with her. Today, I make sourdough bread, pasta, crackers, jams, spices, and lots more!

It should not be cooked or boiled and can be added to any dish to give it a unique flavour. Be adventurous, creative and try saffron in your favourite recipes.

Hello, I'm Carm and I create wooden circles that follow a storybooks. As a child follows the story, they can use the wooden circles, that have characters from the story drawn on them, to engage and play along with the story. This creates an opportunity for a child to use their imagination and to love story time and storytelling. A child can use the wooden pieces to also create their own stories.
