Cabot Trail #1

This painting portrays a famous Cabot Trail which surrounds the northern tip of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.  Magnificent beauty and massive rock structures meeting the waves of the Atlantic Ocean were captured in this painting.

To achieve the effect of huge rocks, I used a combination of pallet knife and soft brush strokes, with detailing using small brushes. Painting is ready to hang or to be placed on the bookshelf along your favourite books or placed on a small photo easel for easy viewing.
