Kitchen Witch Art Print

The Story Behind The Art:
Did you know that some people grew up with little kitchen witch dolls hanging in their kitchens? Because I certainly didn't until I was commissioned to create this piece! These little witches are said to bring good luck, ward off evil spirits, and even prevent kitchen mishaps like burnt pastries and overflowing pots. How cute is that?!

This painting was actually commissioned as a gift for someone who grew up with a kitchen witch in her childhood home, but didn't have one of her own. I loved the idea of creating something to bring a little piece of her childhood into the home she created for herself, especially through something as personal as a painting.

Capturing magical and incredible women has always been one of my favourite things to do in my artwork, and getting to combine that love with such a thoughtful, meaningful gift made this piece particularly special to create.
