Ocean Blue Handspun Yarn

This gorgeous 3-ply Aran weight yarn comes from Falkland sheep a bit further away in the British Isles and part of my inspiration to spin yarn from all of the different breeds. Comfortable to wear against the skin, Falklands wool makes a wonderful yarn for knitters, crocheters, and weavers. The colourway moves through tonal shades of blue, creating subtle shifts in depth and colour rather than a single flat shade. This yarn is produced in small batches, giving each colourway its own character. Because of the nature of small-batch dyeing, subtle variations in colour may occur between skeins and batches.

If you are purchasing multiple skeins for one project, we recommend purchasing enough for the entire project at the same time to ensure the best possible colour consistency.

Care

Because this yarn contains natural animal fibres, gentle care is recommended. Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a mild wool wash, gently squeeze out excess water, and lay flat to dry. Avoid agitation, twisting, and sudden temperature changes, which can contribute to felting.
